By the end of this article, you will:
- Know how to recover access to the PortalSIX user app if you forget your password or are unable to log in.
Key Concepts or Steps
Before attempting to recover access to your PortalSIX user account, please make sure that you have registered your user account. (Please see Registering your new PortalSIX user account). If you have not yet registered your user account, please locate the Welcome Email sent to you from noreply@six3ro.com and follow the steps outlined. If you cannot find the email, please check your spam/junk folder or contact one of your organization's account administrators.If you have registered your user account, but have never logged in and are unable to remember your password, you can follow the steps defined below to gain access to PortalSIX.
To recover access to your PortalSIX user accountYou will need access to the email account associated with your PortalSIX user account and the devices/accounts associated with other authentication methods selected by your organization's PortalSIX administrators to complete the access recovery process.
1. From the login screen, click the link labeled Forgot password?
2. Enter your email address (the email associated with your PortalSIX user account) where prompted. Then click Send Reset Link.3. If you've entered an email address associated with a PortalSIX user account, you will receive a password recovery email from noreply@six3ro.com with the information needed to regain access to the app. When you have received this email, clickProceed.4. Where prompted, enter the code sent in the password recovery email.5. Where prompted, enter the code sent via SMS to your mobile device.6. When prompted, enter and confirm a new password; ensure all complexity requirements (shown on the screen) are met.7. You will then be prompted to login to the user app with the new password you just created.
