Getting Started as a PortalSIX User

What you'll accomplish

By the end of this article, you will:
  1. Know how to access your PortalSIX user app
  2. Know how to login to your PortalSIX user app
  3. Be familiar with the PortalSIX user app's layout, contents, and how to navigate the app

Key Concepts or Steps

Getting a PortalSIX user account
When a new user account is created for you, you will receive a Welcome Email. This email is sent to the email associated with your PortalSIX user account.
The Welcome Email contains:
  1. The website address that you'll need to visit to configure your login
  2. Your username (which is your email address)
  3. A one-time password (OTP) that you'll use to sign in for the first time
If you believe you should have a PortalSIX user account but do not have a Welcome Email, please contact one of your company's PortalSIX Administrators.

Navigating to your PortalSIX user app
When accessing your PortalSIX user app for the first time, you'll need to configure your login. To do this, visit the URL included in your Welcome Email.

Once you have set your login password, you will be directed to your PortalSIX user app's main login page.
The URL for your PortalSIX user app is in the format:
               https://[your account name].app.six3ro.com.

Logging into your account
To log in to your PortalSIX user app
  1. Navigate to your PortalSIX user app login page at https://[your account name].app.six3ro.com
  2. Enter your username (which is your email address associated with your PortalSIX user account)
  3. Enter your password. Note: your password is case sensitive
  4. Choose how you wish to receive a code for your additional authentication - you can choose to receive the code on your phone, via text message, or by email
  5. Enter the code you receive at your selected location
If your authentication attempt fails, you can retry, or you can select "Forgot password" to reset your login credentials.

Navigating your PortalSIX user app
Once you successfully login to your PortalSIX user app, you will be shown a list of SIXs that you're authorized to access. To view the files within a SIX, click on the card or the row for the desired SIX.
From this page, you can also:
  1. Create a new SIX (if your user account has the appropriate permissions)
  2. Search SIXs for desired content
  3. Navigate to the PortalSIX Support Site
  4. View and update your user profile information
  5. Update your login credentials
  6. Log out of the PortalSIX user app
