Delete a file from a SIX

By the end of this article, you will:
- Know how to delete a file from a SIX.
Key Concepts or Steps
Please note:
You
will only be able to delete a file if you are the SIX Owner or if you added the file to the SIX. If you are not the SIX Owner, or if you did not add the file to the SIX, the functionality to delete a file will be unavailable to you.
There are two ways to delete files:
To delete a single file from a SIX -
1. Click on the vertical ellipsis icon (
) in the row with the file you wish to delete. Note: if you did not add the file or if you are not the SIX Owner, you will not see this icon.
2. Click on the Delete option in the drop-down menu.
To delete multiple files at once -
1. Select the files you wish to delete. Use Ctrl+click (on Windows) or Command+Click (on Mac) to select multiple files.
Note: for the deletion to succeed, you must be a SIX Owner, or you must have added/uploaded all selected files to the SIX.
2. Click on Delete in the banner displayed above the file list to delete all selected files.
File deletions can not be undone. If you, or a SIX Owner does delete a file accidentally, anyone in the SIX with possession of the file can re-upload it to the SIX.
