By the end of this article, you will:
- Know how to create a new folder in a SIX.
Key Concepts or Steps
Please note:You will only be able to create a folder in a SIX that you are a participant in. Other SIXs may exist on your organization's PortalSIX account, but if you are not a participant, you will not see or be able to add folders in them.
- To create a new folder in a SIX, access the SIX, then click on the button labeled Create new folder.
- Enter a name for your new folder and click Create Folder.
- Once your folder is created, you can drag files into, or out of, the folder.
Notes on folder management
- Folders can only be deleted by users who created them and SIX Owners.
- A folder creator who is not a SIX Owner will be unable to delete a folder if it contains files added by another user. To delete a folder with files added by other users, first move any file created by another user to another location in the SIX, then delete the folder.
